# How to Flash a 35T DMA Card

**For Squirrel 35T / Captain 35T DMA**

**1. Make sure the DMA is properly inserted in a PCIe slot on the Gaming-PC.**

**2. Make sure that the Gaming-PC is powered on.**

**3. Plug the DMA USB-Cable into the "Update" port or "JTAG" on the DMA Card and the  other end into the 2nd-PC.**

**4. Go into the Flash Tools folder and open "zadig-2.8.exe".**\
**5. In Zadig open "Options" - Tick "List All Devices" and select**\
&#x20;   **"Quad RS232-HS (Interface 0)"**

**-> It is important that you select "Interface 0"!**

**-> If you do not see the "Quad RS232-HS" options and instead see a "FTDI SuperSpeed-FIFO Bridge" it most likely means that you are plugged in the Data port and not the Update Port.**

**・Make sure the driver where the arrow is pointing at says WinUSB ("Version number") and press Replace Driver.**

**-> Make sure that it says that the installation was successful and it looks like the after picture.**

6. **Go into the OCD folder.**

**Copy your firmware file into Flash Tools folder and change the Flash\_screamer config to that name. as shown in the image below.**

**Double click flash.bat file →Might take up to 5 minutes.**

**Make sure it looks like in the picture below!**

**7. After Shows Shutdown Command invoked in the last line, Change to the Data USB-Port on the DMA.**

**8. Fully shutdown Main PC and wait 3-5 Minutes**

**9. Run** [<mark style="color:blue;">**DMA Speed Test**</mark>](https://drive.proton.me/urls/V98MBZNGZC#DUME8woLuCAl) **File as Admin.**\
&#x20;   **If, DMA test shows reading means DMA Working.**
